About
A firm built around the question whose interest is being served?
Relatio exists because the mid-market deserves the calibre of independent counsel that only the largest enterprises can usually afford — and because the prevailing model, where advice and implementation are sold by the same firm, has a structural problem with the truth.
The Name
Formal, independent, accountable.
Relatio comes from Latin — the root of ‘relate’ and ‘report.’ In Roman usage, a relatio was a formal, independent account, brought forward on its own merits, not shaped by whoever was listening. That’s the whole business model, in one word.
Pronounced reh-LAH-tee-oh.
Mission
The gap we exist to close.
We believe businesses deserve advice with no agenda but their own. Relatio Co. is building the independent standard for AI, business applications, and data — senior counsel that earns nothing from what you buy or who delivers it. The way it should be.
Principal Advisors
A real stake in the outcome, not billable hours.
Relatio is led by its principal advisors — senior practitioners with decades of experience and a real stake in the outcome, not billable hours in an engagement. Not only do they have the domain experience — they’ve honed their craft by successfully delivering and advising, one client at a time, until a playbook existed. That’s the standard Relatio is held to.
Customer Advisory Board
Accountability to customers, not vendors.
Senior leaders who keep Relatio anchored to client needs — accountability to customers, not vendors.
Values
What we hold to
Independence is structural
We earn no implementation or referral revenue — by design, not by policy.
Practitioners, not proxies
The person who reasons through your decision is the person whose name is on the recommendation. No hand-off, no smoothing-over in between.
Long horizons
We optimise for the third conversation, not the first invoice.
No clock, no invoice, shaping the advice
Every engagement is fixed-fee, agreed before work begins. Nothing about what we recommend changes based on how long it takes.

One question, no obligation.
What are you trying to decide? If Relatio isn't the right fit, we'll say so.
